News & Notes
The Eudora Schools Foundation is proud to announce the expansion of the Cardinal U Scholarship, increasing support for Eudora High School students pursuing college credit while still in high school.
This expanded effort reflects a strong and growing partnership between the Foundation and community supporters who are deeply committed to Eudora students and their future success. Leadership support for the Cardinal U Scholarship includes long-time partners Truity Credit Union, the Eudora High School Class of 1968, and a transformational $50,000 commitment from an anonymous donor.
The Eudora Schools Foundation Board of Directors has announced a leadership transition as Monica Dittmer has been named the organization’s next Executive Director. The transition comes as current Executive Director Shanda Hurla will step down from the role effective June 30.
Following her time with the Foundation, Hurla will continue serving Eudora students in a new role focused on initiatives related to college and career readiness and supporting post secondary success at Eudora High School.
The Eudora Schools Foundation (ESF) has raised $101,005.70 during its annual ESF Give Day, marking a milestone moment in the Foundation’s 20th Birthday year. With support from more than 570 donors, this year’s Give Day represents the largest total in the event’s history.
